Nino, que un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde se consagr\u00f3 como primer campe\u00f3n mundial de F1, avanz\u00f3 hasta el segundo lugar y en la vuelta 12 tomo la vang\u00fcardia superando a G\u00e1lvez primero y posteriormente a Ascari.<\/p>\n<p>Pero la lluvia volvi\u00f3 y termin\u00f3 siendo la mejor aliada del Aguilucho. Con Farina retrasado la pelea por la punta era una historia de dos; Ascari (l\u00edder) y G\u00e1lvez (segundo).<\/p>\n<p>Los giros transcurr\u00edan y el italiano no s\u00f3lo no se pod\u00eda escapar, sino que el argentino achicaba cada vez m\u00e1s la distancia producto de su notable manejo y del mejor funcionamiento de su Alfa Romeo (3800 cc) en piso h\u00famedo, contra la inestabilidad de la Maserati.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta que en la vuelta 26 la tribuna explot\u00f3 con la superaci\u00f3n de Oscar G\u00e1lvez. El porte\u00f1o no solt\u00f3 jamas la punta hasta el banderazo final provocando el j\u00fabilo de la multitud que se volc\u00f3 al trazado urbano peligrosamente para vitorear al h\u00e9roe.<\/p>\n<p>En la estad\u00edstica qued\u00f3 que Oscar G\u00e1lvez gan\u00f3 con un tiempo de 1h31m4s de carrera y que el promedio de velocidad fue 96.160 KM\/H.
