Durante muchos a\u00f1os condujo los destinos el Autom\u00f3vil Club Mendoza\u00a0y en el a\u00f1o 1974 inaugur\u00f3 el aut\u00f3dromo\u00a0General San Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su mandato insert\u00f3 en el calendario nacional e internacional\u00a0al escenario situado a metros del Cerro de la Gloria y antes de dejar su cargo decidi\u00f3 modificar parte del escenario, por pedido de la CDA, pero los gobiernos de turno le dieron la espalda y ese fue el principio del fin de una larga y pr\u00f3spera historia teniendo en cuenta que quienes lo sucedieron tampoco pudieron reflotarlo.<\/p>\n<p>Antonio ten\u00eda 90 a\u00f1os y pocos conoc\u00edan su presente ya que al dejar su cargo los m\u00e1s cercanos, o quienes siempre colaboraron con el directivo, mantuvieron relaci\u00f3n.
